Hello, greetings, and salutations! How are things in your neck of the woods? More importantly, how are you doing and feeling? I know that Halloween is right around the corner, but I hope your hopes are higher now that we are closer to election day, which by the way is only five days away. Either we will see a change in residency at the White House or we will experience more of the we’ve seen in the last four years. Hopefully without the tricks, riots, China Virus, ridiculous scandals that end up wasting precious time, and all the other things that go bump in the night. No matter what side you are on, we need to put politics aside and be united as Americans. That’s who we are and what we need to represent to the rest of the world that is looking very closely at us, trying not to snicker or laugh when we are looking at them. Personally, I don’t care what the rest of the world thinks, but as far as us fighting each other, we look like we don’t know what we are doing.

I’m not going to tell people what to put or not to put on their page, but if your sole mission is to put up a whole lot of anti president rhetoric, then you’re just as bad as Facebook and twitter if all you’re going to do is bash the current Presidential Administration. If you don’t agree or like the current president, it’s your God-given right and I will defend that right till the day I die. I just think some of y’all need to find something else better to do with your life. I know it’s covid-19 era and all, but you guys really need to find a better hobby that’s more productive for your mental health and your social awareness. I didn’t care for President Obama, but I respected the office that he occupied during his eight years in the White House. I also didn’t go posting all kinds of crazy memes and rhetoric about him 24/7 365 like some of y’all. I would voice my opinion on some of the things and move on. I would take the wins when they came and I would brush off the losses. Some of y’all are still stuck in the first 24 hours after November 8, 2016. About time you hop back in your DeLorean and come join us in the year 2020. It’s okay, we’ve got hot chocolate and blankets waiting here for you when you arrive.

Did you get the chance to watch the final Presidential Debate last Thursday night? All in all, I got to say it was a much better debate than that thing Chris Wallace mangled up. Much better, much more calmer, and more civil. Even President Trump said some pretty good pleasantries to the moderator. However, I honestly expected more out of Joe Biden because they were preparing him for the five days prior to the debate and it didn’t do any good in my opinion. No public speeches or appearances, not even on skype or zoom. It just didn’t seem like all that prep work paid off. If this is the best of Joe Biden has got, he is better off stepping down between now and the election and letting Kamala Harris lead the ticket. 47 years in political office at different stages, and there is not one bit of evidence that shows he has improved. If he wanted to do all those things he keeps talking about he’s going to do, he had 47 years to do it, especially during the last 8 years that he was vice president. I thought it was good that Vice President Biden did not talk about Hunter as much as President Trump wanted oh, but it’s already evident that the Biden family is corrupt and I’m still waiting for the big October surprise to happen. I think the October surprise is going to be the one thing that’s going to either knockout Biden or it’s going to help him get more voters because of the sympathy vote. Hunter Biden should stay away from the spotlight.

Hunter Biden is going to be the boat anchor that’s going to sink the ship that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris is on. If I was Kamala Harris or anyone in the Democratic party, I would be sitting down with Joe as soon as possible and tell him that he needs to step down to let Kamala Harris takeover now. After this, it’s more evident than ever. Joe Biden could have done a lot more defending his son on that stage last Thursday night (10/22) when President Trump offered him the opportunity to make his case for the American people, but Joe didn’t. Joe obviously is not going to win this election. Joe Biden could have done a lot more defending his son on that stage when President Trump offered him the opportunity to make his case for the American people, but Joe didn’t. Joe obviously is not going to win this election. For the Democrats to win it, or to at least to have a real fighting chance right right now, they need Kamala to step up big time.

Again, I was hoping there would be more to this debate than what we saw, but Joe did not put up much of a fight. Instead he looked pale, he looked disoriented at times, and he even looked like he lost his place in his speech. A couple of times, he didn’t know what he was talking about and it was really obvious. Again, the Democrats really need to re-evaluate their strategy between now and the election. Donald Trump dance circles around Joe Biden simply by proving Joe Biden is a 47-year politician who has done absolutely nothing compared to what President Trump has done in the past three and a half almost four years.

Something else that gets me is that Joe Biden said he “never got money from China” but he never said he didn’t get money from Ukraine or Russia during the debates. So I wonder if that was just a slip of the tongue or if that was him messing up. And I think it also hurt him that he would not put down China or blame China for covid-19. That tells me that he also has interest in China and he doesn’t want his dark overlords to remove their support. Joe Biden is done. I think honestly Kamala Harris is the next best thing for the current Democratic party between now and election. She isn’t trustworthy, but she is their best chance to avoid going down (excuse the pun) in flames. Once this election is over with, I would strongly recommend the Democratic party reinvent themselves before entering another political contest.

By the way, for those of you who aren’t too savvy on military exercises, you may not have really noticed when Presidential Candidate Joe Biden mention “we are heading into a Dark Winter” not once (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjOEHA_rXnQ), but twice during last Thursday’s (10/22) Presidential Debate. Enjoy some “healthy” reading on the subject (https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/our-work/events-archive/2001_dark-winter/about.html). By the way, did anyone in the tinfoil hat brigade notice the states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Pennsylvania get mentioned quite a bit? That technically didn’t have anything to do with “Dark Winter” comment, but when I heard it, a little alarm went off in my head, especially when the Oklahoma was mentioned because it hit a little close to home. If you are not the “Tin-foil hat” type, then you probably should to still listen because you might learn something. What I’m about to share with you is NOT a conspiracy, imagination gone wild, or a Hollywood movie.

Let me give you the details on “Dark Winter”. On what I’m going to tell you, don’t silence any alarms that may go off in your mind and gut. Keep an open mind because some of what I am saying is happening right now with some eerie similarities. Dark Winter was a “tabletop” exercise. Decision makers were presented with a fictional scenario and asked to react to the facts and context of the scenario, establish strategies, and make policy decisions. To the extent possible, the decisions made were incorporated into the evolving exercise, so that key decisions affected the evolution and outcomes of the scenario. “Dark Winter” was divided into 3 segments and simulated a time span of ∼2 weeks. Each segment portrayed an NSC meeting, which were set several days apart in the story: on 9, 15, and 22 December 2002.This year, 2020 has experienced on a much larger scale than what was done then as the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Johns Hopkins Center for Civilian Biodefense Studies, the ANSER Institute for Homeland Security, and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Institute for the Prevention Terrorism, hosted a senior-level war game examining the national security, intergovernmental, and information challenges of a biological attack on the American homeland. The exercise was called “Dark Winter”  and  simulated a covert smallpox attack on the United States. The first such exercise of its kind, Dark Winter was constructed to examine the challenges that senior-level policy makers would face if confronted with a bioterrorist attack that initiated outbreaks of highly contagious disease. The exercise was intended to increase awareness of the scope and character of the threat posed by biological weapons among senior national security experts and to bring about actions that would improve prevention and response strategies.

The exercise’s premise states that “With tensions rising in the Taiwan Straits, and a major crisis developing in Southwest Asia, a smallpox outbreak was confirmed by the CDC in Oklahoma City. During the thirteen days of the game, the disease spread to 25 states and 15 other countries?. Fourteen participants and 60 observers witnessed terrorism/warfare in slow motion. Discussions, debates (some rather heated), and decisions focused on the public health response, lack of an adequate supply of smallpox vaccine, roles and missions of federal and state governments, civil liberties associated with quarantine and isolation, the role of DoD, and potential military responses to the anonymous attack. Additionally, a predictable 24/7 news cycle quickly developed that focused the nation and the world on the attack and response. Five representatives from the national press corps (including print and broadcast) participated in the game and conducted a lengthy press conference with the President. The players were introduced to this crisis during a National Security Council meeting scheduled to address several emerging crises, including the deployment of a carrier task force to the Middle East. At the start of the meeting, the Director of Health and Human Services informed the President of a confirmed case of smallpox in Oklahoma City. Additional smallpox cases were soon identified in Georgia and Pennsylvania. More cases were reported in Oklahoma. The source of the infection was unknown, and exposure was presumed to have taken place at least nine days earlier due to the lengthy incubation period of smallpox. Consequently, exposed individuals had likely traveled far from the loci of what was now presumed to be a biological attack. The scenario spanned 13 days.”

Now, here is where you should brace yourself because the findings of this scenario are very interesting considering some of the variables are in play now. After running this exercise, they found that an attack on the United States with biological weapons could threaten vital national security interests. Listen closely to what I am saying now: “Massive civilian casualties, breakdown in essential institutions, violation of democratic processes, civil disorder, loss of confidence in government, and reduced U.S. strategic flexibility abroad are among the ways a biological attack might compromise U.S. security”. Does any of that sound familiar to the events we have witnessed this year? 2020 has been a train-wreck, from engine to caboose, if cabooses were still a thing. If you believe everything the Mainstream Media has been portraying, there’s already been:

  • “massive civilian casualties” from the daily COVID-19 death counts;
  • with businesses and educational campuses being closed (some by force in democratic run states and cities), there’s the “breakdown in essential institutions”;
  • with all the rioting and violent protesters destroying properties and hurting innocent people, there’s the “civil disorder”;
  • various methods of ballot tampering with the mail-in ballots is “violation of democratic processes”;

But yet, when you combine all these factors, and if they don’t get magically cleared up on Wednesday, November 4th (day after the United States elections), we might get to experience the fifth and final piece of the puzzle, “reduced U.S. strategic flexibility abroad are among the ways a biological attack might compromise U.S. security” because all this will eventually cause United States troops called onto the city streets. We have seen similar with the National Guard being called to quell some violent rioters in several towns across the United States over the Summer. Something tells me, we ain’t seen the last of that type of action.

Some other things the results showed was that current organizational structures and capabilities were not, and may still not be well suited for the management of a Biological Warfare attack. “Major “fault lines” exist between different levels of government (federal, state, and local), between government and the private sector, among different institutions and agencies, and within the public and private sector. These “disconnects” could impede situational awareness and compromise the ability to limit loss of life, suffering, and economic damage. There is no surge capability in the U.S. healthcare and public health systems, or in the pharmaceutical and vaccine industries. This institutionally limited surge capacity could result in hospitals being overwhelmed and becoming inoperable, and it could impede public health agencies’ analysis of the scope, source and progress of the epidemic, their ability to educate and reassure the public, and their capacity to limit causalities and the spread of disease”. Again, I ask you, do you see any thing familiar in what I am telling you? Can you see the correlation between the Democratic run cities or states and what the exercise, “Dark Winter”, played out?

If I didn’t know better, the Mainstream Media is playing this by the script as well (https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org/our-work/events-archive/2001_dark-winter/Dark%20Winter%20Script.pdf). Or maybe they are being played, per the script. Dealing with the media will be a major immediate challenge for all levels of government. Information management and communication (e.g., dealing with the press effectively, communication with citizens, maintaining the information flows necessary for command and control at all institutional levels) will be a critical element in crisis/consequence management, according to the exercise results. “Should a contagious bioweapon pathogen be used, containing the spread of disease will present significant ethical, political, cultural, operational, and legal challenges.” In the scenerio, they used Smallpox because of its high case-fatality rates and transmissibility. It represents one of the most serious biological warfare threats to the civilian population. In 1980, the World Health Assembly announced that smallpox had been eradicated and recommended that all countries cease vaccination (https://www.who.int/csr/disease/smallpox/en/). Although labs in two countries still officially store smallpox samples (U.S. and Russia), its re-appearance would almost certainly indicate an intentional outbreak. Aerosol release of smallpox virus disseminated among a relatively small population could result in a significant epidemic. Evidence suggests the infectious dose is very small. Several factors are cause for concern: the disease has historically been feared as one of the most serious of all pestilential diseases; it is physically disfiguring; it bears a 30 percent case-fatality rate; there is no treatment; it is communicable from person to person. Granted that COVID-19 can’t be comparable to Smallpox, but the variable can be switched out. In other words, if you take Smallpox out of this exercise and replace it with COVID-19, what do you get? The answer to that is the last 10 months of 2020.

On a side note, I would like to address something that I feel is near and dear to my heart. Dear FCC (or more direct, Chairman Pai), please leave the Ham radio operators alone (https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2020/10/15/2020-21530/schedule-of-application-fees). These are folks who relay your emergency communications during disasters (weather and man-made) and prefer a simpler mode of communication for hobby or everyday living. Not every likes cellphones and ham radio’s don’t require a tower to broadcast. Especially every few Kilometers like your precious 5G will need for it to be useful. By the way, how is 5G infrastructure working in China? Heard / read they are struggling with it over there. Something about other interference going on. Although Chinese government isn’t really trustworthy, some of its citizens and anti-government media is. First you tried to screw over the BUD’s and now you want to make another mess with hiking up fee’s for ham radio users.

If you’re agency is struggling to make money, I suggest taking a look into how Broadcast Radio / TV is being treated by it’s monopolies. Break up the monopolies who own over 100 stations across the nation (AM, FM, DAB, HD, TV), lower the cap on all the cross mergers for broadcasters and newspapers (only 1 newspaper per 3 stations per market), only three stations per market (AM, FM,DAB,HD,TV), and make these so-called broadcasters to have a local office / studio to broadcast out of in the areas they are licensed to serve. For example, look at the problems of having competing monopolies happening in the Fayetteville, AR / Fort Smith, AR markets involving radio and TV. It’s a joke. That’s why a lot of us prefer to get our news and information from stations out of Tulsa, who actually give us better coverage than Fayetteville. Doing this will drive up competition. Thus competition will make money, not just for the FCC in regulatory fees, but in the local economy as well.

By the way, some Ham Radio users also work or worked in radio (i.e. ME – KF5UUV). Severe weather, disasters, wrecks on the main roads, it is a very useful tool for passing along reliable information during a time of need. It definitely comes in handy when I’m on air on my online station, in which is running on wireless two-way internet. Didn’t you know that ham radio is also on the internet too? Yeah, different, but yes it is there. So are you going to charge them too? Good Lord, I hope not. Can’t imagine how that would feel for those who use it. SMH So please, FCC, in the words of President Trump, “Stand Back and Stand Down” on this issue. Go find your money else where or do what most business owners and workers have to do during this COVID-19 era: take a pay cut.

Ladies and gentlemen, I only mention these things to you because I want you to be aware of your surroundings. I want you to keep in mind that there are monsters lurking in the shadows with intentions of keeping you scared nearly to death and they want to keep you that way because they feed of your fear. Your fear gives them the room and reasons to continue progressing forward in their agendas. Your freedom is not theirs to take or abuse. Keep in mind what your parents, grandparents, and great-grand parents believed about their freedoms back in their day. Compare that ideology to today and figure out which is going to be better for your children. We are only one generation away from a total change in government that will be a complete 180 degrees change of what we currently have. To quote former President Reagan, “If we forget we are one nation under God, we will be a nation gone under.”

Hello America and how are you? I really hope your health is good, your hopes are high, and your faith is being fulfilled. I know these seem like troubling times, but if we can keep both our hands on the wheel, our food on the gas pedal, and our windshields clean, we’ll be be able to drive through this earthquake that seems to have us all trembling right now. Keeping the destination in mind and using the map in our hearts will guide us through this mess and before we know it, the upcoming election and the rest of 2020 will be behind us.  I don’t think it will leave any sticky residue on us once we make it past the goal line because I feel that some of the shady characters that have been clinging on and stringing us along for their own personal gain will not be able to touch us any longer in hopes that they are kicked out of office like a burning bag of bathroom trash.

Welcome to another edition of a show that is as about as relevant to the Mainstream Media as a rocking chair is to a cat. If there is anything that can be said about the ridiculousness of our media, both social and mainstream, then it is this: they are now a tag team and working their way up to be champions of the political ring. If you have noticed anything in the past seven days, it has to be the restrictions it holds against those trying to spread facts that are being laid out to the American people, if not the world, about how crooked certain characters can be when it comes to financial gain, political favor, and obtaining their online five seconds of fame. It don’t matter how many bodies they step on, there’s always room for one more. No, I’m not talking about Hillary Clinton either. This is a whole other ballgame and we are making our way through the 9th inning, the scores are tied, and the bases are loaded.

Here’s a quick update on the Breanna Taylor case: A judge in Kentucky granted the grand jurors in the Breonna Taylor case the chance to publicly speak about the case presented to them by Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (https://www.cnn.com/2020/10/20/us/breonna-taylor-grand-juror-ruling/index.html). The verdict comes after an anonymous grand juror who was on the panel sued for the right to openly speak out. This juror says that that grand jury did not have homicide charges explained to them and were only presented with wanton endangerment charges. As you may recall the case, Breonna Taylor was killed on March 13th in Louisville, Kentucky by police officers who were executing a search warrant of her apartment. Her family sued the city of Louisville and received a $12 Million Dollar settlement. Of the three officers who were at the scene, only one, Brett Hankison, was charged with “wanton endangerment” for shooting into a neighboring apartment. None of the officers were charged directly with Taylor’s death. Cameron’s office had opposed allowing grand jurors to speak openly and has previously said he would appeal any ruling that granted them the opportunity.

Something else that is in the news, but mostly one-sided. You may have heard that President Trump is urging Attorney General William Barr to investigate Joe Biden’s son before the election (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/oct/20/trump-barr-special-prosecutor-joe-biden-hunter-biden). President Trump claims that his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has obtained information about Hunter Biden’s work in Ukraine (https://nypost.com/2020/10/14/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad/). Rudy Giuliani is the source of a laptop used for a New York Post story about Hunter Biden, but claims in the story have not been corroborated by fact-checkers. Ever since the news broke about this situation, President Trump insisted that Hunter Biden has engaged in a major act of corruption and called on Barr to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the claims. “He’s got to act. And he’s got to act fast,” according to President Trump. The story from the New York Post displayed an email that showed Hunter Biden arranging a meeting in 2015 between his (then Vice President) dad and one of his senior colleagues at corrupt energy company Burisma (https://www.nsenergybusiness.com/features/burisma-impeachment-trump/), which was paying him up to $83,000 a month. What I find interesting is that neither Joe Biden nor his son, Hunter, has disputed that the laptop belongs to Hunter or that the details published from the laptop is genuine. However, Joe Biden’s campaign did admit to Politico that an “informal” meeting with Burisma may have occurred (https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/14/biden-campaign-lashes-out-new-york-post-429486).

This is new evidence that Joe participated in his family’s cash-for-influence scheme with shady foreign companies. Unfortunately, the mainstream media is helping the Biden family discredit the New York Post’s reporting using the usual suspects, like James Clapper, who told CNN it was “textbook Soviet Russian tradecraft.” They harassed the computer repair guy in Delaware (https://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/2020/10/14/meet-wilmington-repairman-who-reportedly-gave-biden-laptop-giuliani-associate/3655753001/), who turned over Hunter’s abandoned laptop and hard drive to the FBI, and they scoffed when he said he feared for his life. They ran stories smearing Rudy Giuliani as a Russian agent, because he told The Post about the laptop and identified incriminating documents on its hard drive. It’s clear that there is definitely something to hide here, but what remains to be entirely seen. I understand that there is an investigation going on, but there is also an election. Even though November 3rd is election day, many states across the country are currently taking early voting and absentee ballots. The one question that sticks out to me is why are the Biden’s not denying or putting up a fight on this? Yes, Presidential Candidate Joe Biden is making a few comments here and there, but the media is not really pushing this against them. Could it be they know that the mainstream media won’t press them too hard, so the Bidens are coming out swinging as hard? I know there are people like me who want to know the answers to this and more about how come Hunter gets a pass when it comes to the evidence that Rudy Giuliani has about him getting involved with underaged naked girls. This is important information to know because if Joe gets elected as President, Hunter will obviously get to be in the White House and who knows what else he would bring on.

And it didn’t help that Social Media was heavily involved in trying to put down this story too. Hunter Biden became a top news story on Facebook and Twitter last week, despite attempts by the companies to limit its spread, according to NewsWhip data reported (https://www.axios.com/new-york-post-hunter-biden-facebook-twitter-censor-bf8d9f32-f8cb-444e-bc12-c3b5e8694e84.html). Data shows the story was liked, commented on, and shared repeatedly to the tune of 2.59 million interactions across both platforms. NewsWhip says the story had the sixth most engagement of any story in October, though it fell short of other major moments like President Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis and Eddie Van Halen’s death. Though Facebook and Twitter have publicized attempts to limit improperly sourced or misleading information in the lead-up to the November election, there appear to be limits to their power. The social media giants’ early efforts to prevent the spread of the unsubstantiated story ended up becoming a major story in itself, leading to allegations of censorship or favoritism by conservatives. Fact-checkers have spent the past week analyzing New York Post articles sourced by materials provided by Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon.

Recently, President Trump abruptly ended an interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes.” A source told CNN that Trump was frustrated because he was being asked too many questions about coronavirus. Trump later tweeted that the interview was “FAKE and BIASED” (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1318675787973840896). He also tweeted a short video clip of the CBS News Interview host not wearing a mask (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1318644698341408769). In a separate tweet, President Trump shared photos of White House press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany showing the “60 Minutes” interviewer a heavy book supposedly filled with the Trump administration’s health care achievements (https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1318979804490850304?s=21). President Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden will face off later tonight in the final presidential debate, which will take place in Nashville, Tennessee. This will be an interesting event to say the least that can be seen on just about every TV news media outlet. This one will be slightly different because of the new rule that will be in place: to mute the microphones of President Trump and Candidate Biden as the other gives two-minute opening statements at the beginning of each of six topics during the debate in Nashville. But the microphones of both candidates will be on during the “open discussion” portion of the 90-minute debate, the commission said. The moderator, Kristen Welker (https://www.today.com/about/kristen-welker-co-anchor-weekend-today-nbc-news-white-house-t171372), who is the co-anchor of Weekend TODAY and the NBC News White House Correspondent, has been tasked with returning any time taken up by interruptions to the other candidate. She won’t have the ability to cut the microphones during this period if one candidate speaks over the other. Again, I say this is going to be an interesting debate.

Here’s another interesting development within the education system on an academic level: the University of Minnesota’s School of Social Work is offering a special two-hour webinar series in which white participants are instructed to undergo a 12-step plan, very similar to Alcoholics Anonymous, in order to “recover and reclaim our full humanity” (https://practicetransformation.umn.edu/webinars/part-i-recovery-from-white-conditioning-building-anti-racist-practice-and-community/). The 12-step plan is outlined in Part 1 of the series, titled, “Recovery from White Conditioning: Building Anti-Racist Practice and Community,” and is taught by therapist and university alumnus, Cristina Combs. According to the project’s website, Cristina Combs, a white woman, developed the plan “after years of struggling to navigate the role and presence of whiteness in her personal, academic, and professional journeys.” She goes on to say in an interview, “In this model, we are, in fact, centering whiteness, but we are centering it differently: to expose it, study its patterns, and to transform its violent legacy” (https://www.thecollegefix.com/university-of-minnesota-lecture-features-12-step-recovery-program-for-whiteness/). The university’s website indicates the lecture can earn viewers continuing education units. Cristina Combs said her program helps people recover from their whiteness.

The instructor began the lecture by acknowledging that “I am on traditional Dakota land,” the territory of a Native American tribe which settled in Minnesota. She also acknowledged “George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and all of the other lives stolen from families and communities and our world due to police brutality and state-sanctioned violence.” At the beginning of the webinar, she asks “What comes to mind when you hear the term ‘white supremacy?’” As an answer to the question, she displayed a slide titled “The face of white supremacy.” Under the title were pictures of Ku Klux Klan members as well as white nationalists in Charlottesville. She then took those images off and put a picture of her own face on the screen. Before diving into her 12-step model, the instructor prefaced it by quoting feminist author Bell Hooks (https://www.britannica.com/biography/bell-hooks) in saying that “‘imperialist white supremacist capitalist patriarchy’ [is] the power structure underlying the social order.” The 12 steps of “Recovery from White Conditioning” include:

Step 1 – “We admitted that we had been socially conditioned by the ideology of white supremacy.”

A video of a young white girl who was shown drawings of a cartoon child in varying pigments of skin color is shown. When asked which ones had positive characteristics like “pretty” or “smart,” she would point to the white figures. When asked about negative characteristics like “mean” or “ugly,” she pointed to the dark figures. Then the instructor says “We have been socially conditioned. [White supremacy] is in us. It will always be here. We will always have to work against it in this journey of transformation”.

Step 2: “We came to believe that we could embrace our ignorance as an invitation to learn.”

Cristina Combs decried the fact that people make statements like: “I don’t understand why Black Lives Matter has to protest on the highway.” “If, however, a white person says, ‘I don’t have lived experience that informs me of a risk so great that I would put my body on the line…I have so much I need to learn. I wonder where I can go and seek that knowledge.’ The route is the same: the ignorance, the things that we don’t know,” she said.

Step 3: “We develop support systems to keep us engaged in this work.”

“Far too often people rush in [to the work of social justice], make a mistake, and then turn away. Our commitment is to build support systems and practices that keep us coming back to our core humanity and then showing up in a spirit of accountability and solidarity forward,” the instructor said.

Step 4: “We journeyed boldly inward, exploring and acknowledging ways in which white supremacist teachings have been integrated into our minds and spirits.”

A worksheet is displayed for people to fill out in order to examine how “white supremacy has negatively impacted” topics like “My Understanding of History, My Social Network, How I Interact with People of Color, and (Micro)aggressions I Perpetrate.” According to Combs, the prefix in “(micro)aggressions” is in parentheses due to the fact that “I am done calling them ‘micro,’ because they hurt.”

Step 5: “We confessed our mistakes and failings to ourselves and others.”

“We know that we are gonna make mistakes, and so Step 5 is about coming back and sharing that and learning the lessons and sharing them with others,” Cristina Combs said.

Step 6: “We were entirely ready to deconstruct previous ways of knowing, as they have been developed through the lens of white supremacy.”

Cristina Combs displayed a meme of Morpheus from The Matrix saying, “What if I told you it’s ok to change your opinion based on new information.” According to to the instructor, “Step 6 is really about just acknowledging and sitting with that.”

Step 7: “We humbly explored new ways of understanding…proactively seeking out new learning and reconstructing a more inclusive sense of reality.”

A list of authors is shown who can help with this step, including Audre Lorde (https://alp.org/about/audre), Chimamanda Adichie (https://www.chimamanda.com/about-chimamanda/), and Ta-Nehisi Coates (https://www.britannica.com/biography/Ta-Nehisi-Coates).

Step 8: “We committed ourselves to ongoing study of our racial biases, conscious or unconscious, and our maladaptive patterns of white supremacist thinking.”

According to the instructor, many members call this step “the slimy step.” However, she said, that slime( a.k.a. people’s unconscious biases) are necessary to face. She quoted James Baldwin (https://www.biography.com/writer/james-baldwin) in saying, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” Then she compared this process to tracking the “automatic negative thoughts” of people who are struggling with depression.

Step 9: “We develop strategies to counteract our racial biases.”

In this step, Cristina Combs discusses thinking about people of color positively. She said that one of her members, when she sees black people out in public, will repeat out loud to herself, “Hello my brother, Hello my sister, Hello my sibling.” This repetition, she said, is private and non-disruptive to those around her.

Step 10: “We embraced the responsibility of focusing on our impact, more than our intentions, in interactions with people of color.”

The instructor included a passage from Ken Hardy (https://artsmidwest.org/sites/default/files/KenHardyTasks_Handout.pdf) called “Intentions: Province of the Privileged.” She said that it is unacceptable that “[white people] want to sit and clarify that we didn’t mean it and someone else misunderstood while our BIPOC [black, indigenous, and people of color] siblings are living with the impact.”

Step 11: “We engage in daily practices of self-reflection.”

“Forever and always, for the rest of our lives, we can notice and study where our issues are and how we’re gonna be more courageous the next day,” the instructor said of this step.

Step 12: “We committed ourselves to sharing this message with our white brothers, sisters, and siblings…in order to build a supportive recovery community and to encourage personal accountability within our culture.”

“Step 12 is about saying, ‘We have to go and get our people and work on our communal transformation,” she said. She encouraged attendees to ask themselves: “Who are your heroes? What are your songs, traditions, rituals, rules of admonishment?”

In what seems to be a growing trend that we did predict, not only on Bravo Sierra with Big John, but also on The Big John Show is that more of elected officials are going have attempts of kidnapping or worse done on them. This past Friday night, a 59-year-old, named Meredith Dowty, in Wichita, Kansas was arrested for allegedly threatening to kidnap and kill the city’s Mayor because of his opposition to a pandemic-related health ordinance requiring people to wear face masks in indoor public areas (https://www.cbs19news.com/story/42779070/police-say-wichita-man-arrested-accused-of-threatening-mayor). The Wichita Police Department confirmed that officers had taken 59-year-old Meredith Dowty, a retired Wichita City firefighter, into custody after being alerted to threatening statements directed at the Democrat Mayor, Brandon Whipple. According to reports, the Mayor learned of the threats after being read a series of text messages that were sent to another city official inquiring about the mayor’s address and containing “a detailed threat against his life.” The Mayor said “he said he was going to kidnap me and slash my throat and he needed my address because I needed to see the hangman — me and everyone who, something about tyranny” . The suspect is a well-known local musician who plays guitar and harmonica when performing under the name “Cathead” with a reputation of entertaining numerous gigs in the Wichita bar and nightclub scene (https://www.kansas.com/news/politics-government/article246513655.html).

Here’s something that is interesting, in 2008, Meredith Dowty was honored by the Wichita City Council for saving a Wichita police officer’s life after the officer was shot in the line of duty. This arrest comes on the heels of the recent FBI arrest of several men in Michigan for allegedly plotting to kidnap the state’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer from her vacation home before next month’s presidential election. The group of men, part of an armed militia group known as the Wolverine Watchmen, are accused of organizing in encrypted chat groups, meeting at various locations to train with weapons, and attempting to acquire explosives as part of the plot to kidnap the governor. The alleged threat entailed extensive plotting, including several surveillance trips, a plan to hinder police response by blowing up a bridge with explosive charges, and purchasing supplies—including an 800,000-volt taser. A Video of their “training exercises” is now online (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jllwlidfuhc&feature=emb_title). A federal judge found that there was enough evidence to support a conspiracy charge against five of the so-called “militia” members (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/michigan-militia-charges-evidence-federal-judge/). The FBI also said there was a potential threat as well against Virginia Democrat Governor Ralph Northam. As it’s been pointed out before on Bravo Sierra with Big John and The Big John Show, it’s no coincidence that these cities and states on lockdown are elected Democratic officials. It’s easy to say that the people who are plotting these kidnappings and torture are right wing nuts, but there might be more to that just than political opposition. It’s also been pointed out that people are getting tired of the extensions to these so-called “COVID-19 Safety Concerns”, all in the name of trying to stop the spread of the Chinese Virus.

Hey, speaking of COVID-19 Safety Concerns, you folks in Michigan better vote for Joe Biden to be President of the United States if you are weary of coronavirus lockdowns and the fallout from socioeconomic restrictions related to the pandemic. That’s according to the Michigan Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer. “If you’re tired of lockdowns, or you’re tired of wearing masks, or you wish you were in church this morning or watching college football or your kids were in-person instruction, it is time for change in this country, and that’s why we’ve got to elect Joe Biden,” Governor Whitmer said during an interview on “Meet The Press” this past weekend (https://twitter.com/MeetThePress/status/1317835010599227392?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1317835010599227392%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3%2Ccontainerclick_1&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theblaze.com%2Fnews%2Fwhitmer-lockdowns-masks-church-biden). In other words, she has passed the blame of her state restrictions onto President Trump. Even though she is the one who keeps issuing these restrictions that have obviously upset her states citizens, but she isn’t taking responsibility, herself, for her own actions. So why does she feel she can get away with making these comments when facts show that she is in charge of how her state is managed, not President Trump. He’s telling her to open up the state because the people are frustrated with her? I don’t have an answer for that, but I will say that it seems like a conspiracy or agreement between several democratic governors across several states that all have an agenda to hold their state’s people down or prisoner in their own homes until they get the current President of the United States out. They are refusing to enforce the laws and protect their people from suffering economically to not let them provide for their families.

In part of her interview, Governor Whitmer said President Trump is inciting “domestic terrorism” due to “lock her up” chants at his Michigan rally last Saturday (10/17) night and that his words are “incredibly disturbing” (https://apnews.com/article/virus-outbreak-donald-trump-michigan-gretchen-whitmer-detroit-bc48f1abda98decd04e656dc3d9e8207). This from the woman who earlier this month accused President Trump of being “complicit” with “hate groups”, not unlike the group federal authorities arrested for allegedly plotting to kidnap her and overthrow the state government (https://www.theblaze.com/news/michigan-gov-whitmer-takes-aim-at-trump-in-reaction-to-foiled-kidnapping-plot). I’m left shaking my head over her comments. This Governor is the most vocal of all the other Governors who are locking down their states, including California’s Governor Newsom. Although, I do have to say that she may be suffering from a reality check after Michigan’s attorney general indicated that she would no longer enforce Governor Whitmer’s executive orders on the coronavirus after the state Supreme Court ruled the emergency powers that the governor seized were unconstitutional, a ruling that Governor Whitmer was not happy with, to say the least (https://www.scribd.com/document/478468064/Supreme-Court-Decision#from_embed?campaign=SkimbitLtd&ad_group=88890X1542029Xbe710f24374cb8a9e9b7b904a0ffd2dc&keyword=660149026&source=hp_affiliate&medium=affiliate).

Well, we’ll sure we’ll be hearing about the fallout from what is going to happen between President Trump and Joe Biden as they are going to square off during 90 minutes at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, at 9 p.m Eastern Standard Time tonight on NBC TV. This, my friends, will be another trainwreck, plain crash, and in a verbal demolition derby. The moderator for the final debate is NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker, another huge Democratic supporter. My guess is that she will be leading Candidate Joe Biden, just like Chris Wallace did in the previous Presidential debate. In other words, President Trump will be arguing against two people instead of one. I guess they need to protect Joe. I hope President Trump will publicly denounce White Supremacist and organizations at the beginning of the debate so that will take the argument out of the way of other, more important, issues that need to be discussed such as Joe Biden’s connection to his son, Hunter, Russia / Ukraine scandal that was proven by the recently released emails (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-to-press-biden-on-hunter-biden-email-stories-if-debate-moderator-doesnt-adviser-says).  However, I expect it to be a barn burning circus when it’s all said and done. The mainstream media is going to fly off the handle and get stupid over the smallest details to cause a distraction from what the Leftist want to keep hidden. We can’t have fair debates anymore, no, got to make it a spectacle to keep people confused on what the real issues are. Come on, Lord forbid we actually vote with our conscience / bibles / faith to elect the better person for the most important job in the land to run our country.

What’s up, everyone? How are you doing? Is life treating you better now that we are getting closer to Halloween? I feel like we can just skip the all the tricks and just go straight for the treats. That’s my plan between now and Halloween. I know we are a couple weeks away, but it don’t hurt to plan ahead and if it works, why stop it, right? I don’t know about you, but I feel so   close that I can smell the sugar from here. Just load up my bag and I’ll be on my way home. Then it’s to the dentist to have my teeth replaced, and then to the doctor’s office so I can get diagnosed with diabetes afterwards. Yeah, I feel like this could be the transition to the better part of the whole 2020 saga that we have experienced. That or it’s a trap and the wicked witch of the woods is waiting for us to fall asleep so she can put us in the oven and bake us as some sort of human pie. Well, on second thought, I like the first idea better.

Let’s start over, can we? How do you feel about this week compared to last week? Is it better or worse? Do you feel a little bit unchanged? Yeah, I feel you there. I know me coming on here and preaching to the choir about what all is going on or not going on in the media is getting old. Trust me, I know without anyone having to tell me. Let’s face it: It’s been just a continuation of the same ol’ thing over and over. However, there are a couple of things that seem to be a little different, or maybe it’s just a different flavor of the same ol’ log of junk we’ve been fed for the past few months. 2020, itself, is the virus that won’t go away. The symptoms stuck around because people know how to manipulate the crisis. One thing is for sure, after all this is done and the dust settles down, we won’t have to deal with more stupidity for a while. Hopefully all the cards will be left on the table, the hands have been played, and there are no more Aces up any crooks sleeves. My hope is that come November 4th, or just a few very short days after, this election will be over and so will COVID-19.

I want to jump back to something that was late breaking news that we broke live on the air during “Bravo Sierra with Big John”. California Representative and current Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, last week, announced legislation to create a commission that would allow Congress to oust a sitting president from office, using the 25th Amendment, just a day after she accused President Trump of being “in an altered state” from his coronavirus treatment (https://apnews.com/article/virus-outbreak-donald-trump-constitutions-legislation-impeachments-735b874cafb7244ff9535b45aa76d435). Even though she literally said that this legislation “is not about President Trump, he will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.” Speaker Pelosi denied that the timing of the legislation had anything to do with the election and argued that setting up a commission on presidential capacity is needed to “give some comfort to people” on the stability of the government.

Under the 25th Amendment, Congress, the cabinet and vice president can strip powers from a president if for some reason he or she is declared unfit under dire circumstances. But that requires a 2/3 vote of both houses (https://constitutioncenter.org/interactive-constitution/amendment/amendment-xxv). In Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, it also states that a majority of “such other body as Congress may by law” determine if the president cannot discharge the powers and duties of his office. The 25th Amendment was ratified in 1967, and Democratic Representative Jamie Raksin, of Maryland, who appeared with Speaker Pelosi during the press conference last Friday, said it’s time for Congress to set up this “body.” Representative Raskin’s bill, which would have to be passed by both chambers of Congress and signed by the president, would set up “the Commission on Presidential Capacity to Discharge the Powers and Duties of the Office.” While such a bill may pass the Democrat-controlled House, it would seem extremely unlikely to pass the Republican-held Senate unless there was a significant development in Trump’s health. However, when Speaker Pelosi was asked during the press conference if she thought President Trump has met the threshold for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, she replied “That’s not for us to decide”. Although, I think that is what she was trying to say by introducing this bill.

In a turn of the tables, so to speak…. Representative Doug Collins this past Monday (10/12) introduced a resolution to push for the removal of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, claiming she “does not have the mental fitness” to lead the House of Representatives (https://twitter.com/RepDougCollins/status/1315445872881217537). He said “Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness, which is why it’s critical that the House of Representatives demand her removal from the line of succession”. A draft of Representative Collins’ resolution argues that Pelosi “is unable to adequately serve as Speaker of the House of Representatives and should therefore be removed from her position.” The resolution states that Pelosi “has spent the majority of the House of Representative’s time pursuing baseless and fruitless investigations” against President Trump and his administration, including launching an impeachment inquiry against him in the fall of 2019. “On October 31, 2019, Speaker Nancy Pelosi oversaw the first party-line vote to begin an impeachment inquiry into a president in the history of our country.” The House of Representatives, in December, voted to adopt two articles of impeachment against the president: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

If you recall, the center of the inquiry was President Trump’s efforts to press Ukraine to launch politically related investigations regarding former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s dealings in Ukraine, as well as issues related to the 2016 presidential election. The president’s request came after millions of dollars in U.S. military aid to Ukraine had been frozen, which Democrats argue shows a “quid pro quo” arrangement. President Trump has denied any wrongdoing and was acquitted on both articles of impeachment by the Senate this past February. In one step further, Representative Collins’ resolution also states that Pelosi “ripped up the State of the Union speech” delivered by the president in February “before the American people,” referencing when Pelosi tore her printed copy of the speech immediately after Trump wrapped his remarks at the 2020 “State of the Union” (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/nancy-pelosi-rips-trumps-state-of-the-union-address-sparking-wild-reactions-on-social-media). The resolution also states that Nancy Pelosi “visited a shuttered hair salon in San Francisco where she received a blow-out without wearing a mask in violation of San Francisco’s laws concerning the coronavirus;” and “cast blame on the salon’s owner for ‘setting her up.’” Adding another example more recent, Representative Collins added in the resolution, “Over her tenure of her speakership, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has started to demonstrate a decline in mental fitness, calling into question her ability to adequately serve the House of Representatives and the American people,” referencing an interview on ABC News, saying Speaker Pelosi “appeared confused and exhibited bizarre behavior” by “blurting out randomly ‘Good Morning, Sunday morning’” (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pelosi-flub-during-interview-goes-viral). After this bill got proposed, Speaker Pelosi hasn’t said much more about her and Representative Jamie Raksin hasn’t spoken publicly about their precious little bill. I wonder why that is? Hmmmm…..

Here’s another flavor of the week that comes with a twist: It’s most obvious to me that Judge Amy Coney Barrett is on her way to a Senate confirmation to the United States Supreme Court before the November 3rd election. As a result, it’s getting the folks on the left and the right up in arms. What is interesting here is that even before the Senate Judiciary Committee had finished its four days of hearings with Judge Barrett, the committee chairman Senator Lindsey Graham, from South Carolina, announced that members would tee up a vote on her confirmation by Today (10/15). According to rules, the committee must wait until October 22, to send her confirmation to the full Senate. That means that by next Thursday or Friday, the Senate could confirm President Donald Trump’s third Supreme Court nominee. That is, unless, something happens to change that timeline. However, they seem to be on a tight schedule to get this done this week (https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/). Now the reason for the gap for between this week and October 22nd deadline is that there are still several steps left in the confirmation process. After the Senate Judiciary Committee votes to give her their nomination for Supreme Court Justice, they have to send it to the full Senate, in which debates the nomination.

Now here’s where it will get a little fuzzy, depending on who you talk with. If the Senate can get 3/5 of the Senate or 60 senators (known as the cloture vote), then we have a new Supreme Court Justice (https://guides.ll.georgetown.edu/c.php?g=365722&p=2471070). However, in this case, they need 51 to end debate on Supreme Court nominations (this is commonly known as “the nuclear option”). This means they can just get a majority vote, if I’m not mistaken. Again, I’m not a lawyer, but the whole nomination process goes like this:

  1. The President usually will consult with Senators before announcing a nomination.
  2. When the President nominates a candidate, the nomination is sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee for consideration.
  3. The Senate Judiciary Committee holds a hearing on the nominee. The Committee usually takes a month to collect and receive all necessary records, from the FBI and other sources, about the nominee and for the nominee to be prepared for the hearings.
  4. During the hearings, witnesses, both supporting and opposing the nomination, present their views. Senators question the nominee on his or her qualifications, judgment, and philosophy.
  5. The Judiciary Committee then votes on the nomination and sends its recommendation (that it be confirmed, that it be rejected, or with no recommendation) to the full Senate.
  6. The full Senate debates the nomination.
  7. The Senate rules used to allow unlimited debate (a practice known as filibustering) and to end the debate, it required the votes of 3/5 of the Senate or 60 senators (known as the cloture vote).  In April 2017, the Senate changed this rule and lowered the required votes to 51 to end debate on Supreme Court nominations (this is commonly known as “the nuclear option”).
  8. When the debate ends, the Senate votes on the nomination. A simple majority of the Senators present and voting is required for the judicial nominee to be confirmed. If there is a tie, the Vice President who also presides over the Senate casts the deciding vote.

Now, I have to say that I like what I see with her being nominated for the Supreme Court Justice position. What I really like is the fact she is holding her own and giving back what she is being given by her skeptics and opponents. Make no mistake about it, Amy Coney Barrett has batted back mainly Democrats when they asked questions on abortion, gun rights and election disputes in some pretty lively testimony, insisting she would bring no personal agenda to the court but would decide cases as they come. She’s had plenty of practice over her career. Being a 48-year-old appellate court judge, she had to learn a thing or two on how to fight back on her way up the judicial ladder. Including defending her conservative and religious views with. Her opponents and skeptics are giving her hell because she didn’t say whether she would recuse herself from any election-related cases involving President Donald Trump, who nominated her to fill the seat of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and is pressing to have her confirmed before the the November 3rd election. At one point, she did fire back by saying “Judges can’t just wake up one day and say I have an agenda — I like guns, I hate guns, I like abortion, I hate abortion — and walk in like a royal queen and impose their will on the world,”  back on day two of the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings. She enforced that “It’s not the law of Amy,” later during her testimony. “It’s the law of the American people.” That comment, entirely, did not set well with some, including the likes of Democratic Vice Presidential Candidate and Senator Kamala Harris, who earlier in the day decided to open her speech about how this nomination will hurt the Affordable Health Care Act, also known as “Obama Care” when it’s case is heard next month, November 10th, in the Supreme Court. The case is known as California vs. Texas (https://www.scotusblog.com/case-files/cases/california-v-texas/) A frustrated Senator Dianne Feinstein, who is the top Democrat on the panel, didn’t appreciate the fact the nominee wasn’t more specific about how she would handle landmark abortion cases, including Roe v. Wade and the follow-up Pennsylvania case Planned Parenthood v. Casey (https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/505/833/).

Another news story that seems to not be getting the attention that it deserves comes from the city of Denver, Colorado this past Saturday (10/10). This event happens to involved a news media station and NBC Affiliate, KUSA channel 9. A suspect has been arrested for the shooting of veteran Lee Keltner as leftist militants held a counter “protest” to a pro-Trump rally in Denver (https://www.denverpost.com/2020/10/13/9news-protest-shooting-matthew-dolloff/). They reported that “A private security guard is being held as a suspect in a deadly shooting near the Denver Art Museum, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD). The private security guard in custody was contracted through Pinkerton by 9NEWS. It has been the practice of 9NEWS for a number of months to contract private security to accompany staff at protests. Denver Police Department originally took two people into custody and later found the second individual, a 9NEWS producer who works in the investigative unit, was not involved in the incident. The producer is no longer in police custody and is not a suspect.” Later, the Denver Police Department posted on their Twitter account that “Matthew Dolloff is being held for Investigation of First Degree Murder in connection with the shooting that occurred. This remains an active investigation; any additional updates will be released as it becomes available” (https://twitter.com/DenverPolice/status/1315337220841107456).

The are several reports that Matthew Dolloff is proven to have a long history of disliking conservatives and being anti-Trump and is being reported as not properly licensed (https://www.9news.com/article/news/crime/security-guard-held-denver-shooting-wasnt-licensed-officials-say/73-648ca0f2-cc71-4fa7-b145-cbd710b87f5f). He was arrested moments after a single gunshot rang out on the plaza between the Denver Art Museum and the city’s main library. He is being held without bail on suspicion of first-degree murder following the shooting that left one man dead. According to the marketing and communications manager for the city’s Department of Excise and Licenses, “there is no record” that the shooter had a license required by the city to work as a security guard – and no evidence he’d had one in the past. City law defines a security guard as “a person employed or engaged by a private security employer to perform security services.” Investigators have concluded that Dolloff was acting as a security guard at the time of the incident, according to a tweet from the Denver Police Department. It reads, in part, “further investigation has revealed that, at the time of the shooting, the suspect was acting in a professional capacity as an armed security guard for a local media outlet and not a protest participant.”

Speaking of TV news stations, here’s a real doozy, in a sense, that shows how at up the media is. This is an accurate depiction of how the Mainstream Media is having a nervous breakdown over politics. This situation comes from the state of Alaska, the last place you would expect the media reporters to be acting a fool. The mayor of Anchorage, Alaska, earlier this week admitted to an “inappropriate messaging relationship” with a local TV news anchor who lodged bizarre and unsubstantiated allegations against him (https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/anchorage/2020/10/12/anchorage-mayor-admits-to-inappropriate-relationship-with-news-anchor/). “I apologize to the people of Anchorage for a major lapse in judgement I made several years ago when I had a consensual, inappropriate messaging relationship with reporter Maria Athens,” Mayor Ethan Berkowitz said in a statement. Maria Athens, an anchor for the local Fox and ABC affiliated news stations, posted a video to her professional Facebook page last Friday (10/9) alleging the mayor posted an illicit photo of himself to “an underage girls website.” The anchor claimed the accusations were coming from “reliable sources” and said the story would be airing later that night. An investigation by Anchorage police and the FBI into the allegations found no criminal conduct. The mayor blasted the initial claims as “slanderous” and “categorically false” in a Friday statement. Later Friday, the reporter posted to her Facebook page a nude image claiming to be that of the mayor, along with the mayor’s initial statement. The anchor was also arrested at work later that day for punching the station manager, whom she was also romantically involved with, according to court documents. The next day, the reporter acted out at her arraignment, interrupting the court with frequent outbursts. “I have pancreatitis!” the news anchor said. She also said she needed to get back to work by Monday. It’s unclear if she is still employed by the news stations. She was charged with misdemeanor assault, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct for her alleged fight at the news station.

Mayor Berkowitz, who is married, did not initially respond to questions about why he didn’t acknowledge his relationship with Maria Athens on Friday, when the city sent out a statement calling her “hostile and unwell” or over the weekend as attention mounted and allies publicly defended him. Late Sunday night, a spokeswoman for the mayor wrote: “The approximately 72 hours between the mayor’s statement on Friday and Monday afternoons is due to the time in which the Mayor needed to tell his family about the inappropriate messaging relationship with the reporter.” Mayor Berkowitz was elected Anchorage mayor in 2015 and reelected in 2018. He is barred by term limits from running again for mayor when his term would have ended next spring, but it was announced the he put in his resignation Tuesday (10/13), effective at the end of next week (https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/anchorage/2020/10/13/anchorage-mayor-ethan-berkowitz-announces-resignation/), citing “unacceptable personal conduct”. According to the city’s charter (https://library.municode.com/ak/anchorage/codes/code_of_ordinances?nodeId=PTICH), the Assembly chair will take over as acting mayor until a special election is held. However, the Assembly can vote to reorganize the Assembly and choose a new chair before the mayor’s resignation goes into effect in 10 days. During Tuesday’s meeting, Assemblywoman Jamie Allard made a motion to reorganize, but the motion failed 8-3.

Let’s take it from one town in the great Northwest to another town in the great Southeast. In Meridian, Mississippi, City Councilman, Weston Lindemann, posted a 12 minute video on his Facebook page, alleging that city employees, including Meridian police officers, are conspiring to kill him (https://www.facebook.com/1579392267/videos/10221450724249072/). The man said it all began last week after he announced that he would like to launch an investigation into the Meridian Police Department. At the press conference, he also announced he would be filing a lawsuit against Mayor Percy Bland for not hiring a police chief in a timely manner while accusing him of being involved in the alleged threats.  In the video, the councilman mentions a specific Meridian police officer that, he says, might be behind the threats. That officer hasn’t been formally accused or charged with a crime. The city Mayor denies the accusations and recommends the councilman seek help from law enforcement. “We have requested that Councilman Lindemann move forward with taking whatever claims he has to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation or the FBI,” the Mayor said (https://www.wtok.com/2020/10/12/meridian-councilman-claims-people-are-out-to-kill-him/). It’s being reported that Weston Lindemann has left town for his own protection since the announcement (https://www.mississippifreepress.org/6134/councilman-leaves-meridian-says-local-police-officer-wants-to-kill-him/). He claims to have reached out to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, the state attorney general’s office, and the FBI because he believes city employees, including a police officer, are trying to take him out.

Last but not least on tonight’s bucket list of topics less promoted on the news, have you heard that Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old accused of killing two protesters days after Jacob Blake was shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, will not face charges in his home state of Illinois, prosecutors said (https://chicago.suntimes.com/2020/10/13/21514847/kyle-rittenhouse-antioch-gun-charge-jacob-blake). An investigation revealed the gun used in the Kenosha shooting was purchased, stored and used in Wisconsin, according to a statement by the Lake County, Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office. There is no evidence the gun was ever physically possessed by Kyle Rittenhouse in Illinois, who remains held in a juvenile detention center in Lake County, Illinois without bond because pending criminal charges in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He is due back in Lake County court on October 30th for an extradition hearing. His arrest has become a rallying point for different people, with a legal defense fund that has attracted millions of dollars in donations. Some see him as a domestic terrorist whose presence with a rifle incited the protesters while his defense attorneys have portrayed him as a courageous patriot who was exercising his right to bear arms during unrest over the shooting of Blake. So far, Kyle Rittenhouse is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the killing of two protesters and attempted intentional homicide in the wounding of a third. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of underage firearm possession for wielding a semi-automatic rifle in Wisconsin. However, his lawyer has argued that the teen shouldn’t be sent back to Wisconsin to face homicide charges because “this is not a legitimate criminal prosecution, it is a political prosecution.”

Needless to say it’s been a very interesting week to say the least. It’s been filled with all kinds of confusing and conflicting events all going on at the same time. It is a bucket list served in single blitz move as a Hail Mary storming the beaches of a political war front. The next three weeks is going be a whole lot worse. You know, if you have been reading my weekly blog posts or listening to Bravo Sierra with Big John, we’ve been talking about this building up. Remember, it’s not to late to get prepared, but you should be ready. Keep your faith…

To whom it may concern, welcome to another exciting brain drain edition of the past week. Several things have happened that really makes you think how in bluest moon of Hades does any of this matter when it comes to day-to-day grind of American way of life. Well, if you really must know, it’s what you are supposed to think, come to be expected to do, and moreover, not supposed to draw a conclusion to, simply because you have more important things to worry about such as job security, family issues, and keeping your sanity and faith in check. I’m not saying you can’t do all the above, it’s just what the dark overlords of disaster want you to be confused as to what in the Hell is going on. Unfortunately, it’s working on some people a little too well.

Last Thursday night (10/1), a big revelation had happened to our country after a partial week insane actions brought in part of 2020. President and his First Lady has come down COVID-19. Instead of denying it or trying to hide it, he and his wife were the first to admit it, openly without shame or regret. Also knowing at his age being 74, he has a higher risk of losing his life than someone in their 40s and younger. Let’s say for a moment that things do turn worse and he does become deathly ill, although he has not shown symptoms. But let’s just hypothesize for a moment, shall we? Let’s say he does end up in serious bad health or worse and he has to relinquish his title as President of the United States. Who do you think would be next in line? Mike Pence is the Vice President, so he would take over. Even if the elections go the way that his opponents want it to go, Mike Pence would still be running the country until January 20th, 2021.

There are still many things that are in play that haven’t started yet, including the nomination for our next Supreme Court Justice. That means you would still see Amy Coney Barrett make it to the Supreme Court Justice before election day. We also will see a COVID-19 vaccine for those who want to take it before the election. And something else that I’m sure some haven’t figured out yet either is the fact that he will go down as a fighting president, who against all odds, fought against one hell of an angry Left. This would include the people who are in Black Lives Matter & Antifa. And while I’m on that subject, as former Vice President Joe Biden pointed out at the debates this past Tuesday, that “antifa is just a idea”, then I suppose Kyle Rittenhouse should be released from custody for shooting imaginary people in self-defense. But nobody wants to talk about that. That’s a different topic for a different day.

Back to what I was wanting to point out, IF President Trump gets worse with covid-19 and doesn’t survive (which I hope is not the case because it’s never a good thing to have a sitting United States President die the White House, even if you are not a supporter of the person in office), then the current Vice President will take over the role of President. The odds of President Trump and the First Lady getting worse is also just as high as his opposition makes things out for them. However when he does get better, he and the First Lady will look like tag-team champions because they beat covid-19 together. Don’t believe me and want an example, look at Boris Johnson over in the United Kingdom. Trust me when I say the media will go absolutely ape crazy and lose their ever-loving minds. They will begin to hate COVID-19 simply because it did not do the Left-ists desired effect on our President and you probably won’t hear too much about it after this next 13 days when he gets his first negative test. To be honest, I expect it to go silence in the media after November 3rd.

It’s something else to that kind of strikes a little close to home, being that I’m former Army and an upteenth military generation brat, regular people (like most of yourselves) will not have a true understanding of what loyalty to the office means. Nor will you understand what it means to protect the United States Constitution. A lot of you will not simply put your life on the line to defend your property much less your neighbor. That’s why you’re on Facebook or other social media ranting and raving about a man who you will most likely never meet, but you’ll be the first one to point out his “flaws”. One of those perceived flaws is that his party is not the same as yours. The office of President of the United States should be held with higher regard than the person who is occupying it for the time. The presidency of the United States is an idea that has been passed down from generation to generation. It is a sacred office that requires a sacred oath, similar to what an American Soldier of any military branch takes before they are allowed to even look at the uniform they are about to wear. You may not agree with the guy or woman who may occupy the office, but you should damn well respect the office. I am for smaller government, but I also respect the position of that office for which it stands.

It’s a shame that there are so many people out there causing so much hurt, disrespect, and destruction because they don’t like another person’s idea. Innocent people’s lives are wrecked or ruin and there jobs at businesses are destroyed. At the same time, there are people who are in positions of power who do not need to be there because they abused it and allowed the chaos to happen. That’s on all sides! The solution is to not cause the chaos. You have to take on one problem at a time, not create dozens more just over one single “idea” that you don’t agree with. It should be handled with utmost respect and dignity at the voting booth or in a court of law, should it reach that level of concern. The court of public opinion does not matter and the more disrespect that is shown on social media, mainstream media, or in destructive demonstrations across the nation, the more you will alienate yourself from others and your “idea” way of life. As a result you’ll end up breeding hate, confusion, and despair. You got less than a month to go until the elections and you already acted like you’ve lost all year long. So I guess the only thing to do is admit defeat, suck it up, and drive on. Or you could present your case in a peaceful and respectful way to convince the rest of the legal voters who have yet to decide which person they want to vote for in the upcoming elections.

Those of you who are laughing at President Trump and his wife Melania because they had covid-19, it really shows your heart. I check up on the covid-19 death numbers myself using the CDC and the John Hopkins University websites. I don’t focus on the media and listen to them because all they do is preach death and doom to make it worse. They don’t talk about survivors nor do they talk about people who are curing other people of covid-19 with their plasma. For so long they cried for a vaccine while bringing on the likes of Bill Gates (who by the way is a huge supporter of Planned Parenthood and WHO, plus has hurt children in India with his so-called vaccines for polio), but when President Donald Trump was working with pharmaceutical companies to make one, well they didn’t like that either and they started complaining. Thankfully, President Trump and the First Lady have returned back home to the White House after their four day stay at Walter Reed Medical Center, but that don’t stop the haters doing their best.

It seems to me that there is a lot of people with some anger and evil in their heart. And if that doesn’t bother the average everyday John or Jane Doe, that is another problem too. Personally I try to love everybody, I really do. Everyone I meet is a gift and deserves the respect of being a basic human being. We may get into discussion over opposing views, but I’m not going to hate somebody just because they think differently than I do. We all have at least one common interest. I think it’s time we all focus on that instead of letting the media, s*** stirrers, and politics get in our way. We’ve got much more heading our way and if we don’t unite, if we don’t find that common ground, then God, Allah, Yahweh, Zeus, Odin, whoever deity you believe in that guides your life, will not have mercy on any of us. As former President Ronald Reagan once said, if we forget that we are a nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.

A lot of this negativity is fueled by the major news outlets, via television, online, social media, newspaper and magazine, and even talk radio. When they all say the same talking points, almost verbatim, it’s borderline communist media. It’s similar to state run media in other countries, such as North Korea for example. This is a serious wake up call, but we are all lulled by the media’s voice and we don’t dare get out of our comfort zones because we are nice and snug in our beds with the visions of broken promises in our heads. It’s no secret that this election coming up on November 3rd is a matter of life and death when it comes to our country, way of life, and liberties we seem to take for granted. Remember, this is all just one generation away from being a different country all together. As the Vice President is a heartbeat away from becoming President, the United States is one generation away from being a totally different country from what our parents passed on to us. If you remember how your grandparents talked about this great nation of ours and you want to be able to pass down the precious gifts that we have received from them, it’s the civic duty and responsibility of each American citizen (not the illegal aliens or undocumented citizens) to vote with their conscience.

Now on to some other interesting updates in Michigan that is making Queen Whitmer very unpleased. The Michigan Supreme Court ruled Friday that Governor Gretchen Whitmer had no authority to issue executive orders relating to the pandemic beyond April 30 (https://courts.michigan.gov/Courts/MichiganSupremeCourt/Clerks/Recent%20Opinions/20-21%20Term%20Opinions/In%20re%20Certified%20Questions-OP.pdf). Governor Whitmer had defied the Republican legislature which had been seeking to rein in her draconian response to the coronavirus, which included barring Michigan residents from moving between homes in the state or using motorboats, and stopping stores from selling carpeting, flooring, furniture, garden supplies, or paint. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer released a defiant statement in response to the state Supreme Court striking down her notoriously controversial coronavirus mandates, reminding Michiganders that her rules are still in place for another three weeks (https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/michigan-supreme-court-strikes-down-gretchen-whitmers-coronavirus-orders). In a 4-3 decision, the state’s high court ruled last Friday (10/2) the governor’s unilateral orders were “an unlawful delegation of legislative power to the executive branch in violation of the Michigan Constitution,” and therefore “the executive orders issued by the Governor in response to the COVID-19 pandemic now lack any basis under Michigan law.” The court gave a long list of businesses that were forced to be shuttered under Whitmer’s mandates, including restaurants, food courts, cafes, coffeehouses, bars, taverns, brew pubs, breweries, microbreweries, distilleries, wineries, tasting rooms, clubs, hookah bars, cigar bars, vaping lounges, barbershops, hair salons, nail salons, tanning salons, tattoo parlors, schools, churches, theaters, cinemas, libraries, museums, gymnasiums, fitness centers, public swimming pools, recreation centers, indoor sports facilities, indoor exercise facilities, exercise studios, spas, casinos, and racetracks.

In response, Governor Whitmer accused the justices who ruled in the majority of playing politics. She also reminded her constituents that her regulations are still the law of the land for the time being. “It is important to note that this ruling does not take effect for at least 21 days, and until then, my emergency declaration and orders retain the force of law,” she continued. “Furthermore, after 21 days, many of the responsive measures I have put in place to control the spread of the virus will continue under alternative sources of authority that were not at issue in today’s ruling.” Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield said, “This is a giant win for the people of Michigan and for the democratic process. The people of this state have been denied a voice and a seat at the table in decisions that have impacted every facet of their lives and their futures over the past eight months. They deserve to have their representatives bring their voice and their concerns into this decision-making process.” I have to agree with him on this because if you read the stories and listen to what the citizens are saying in their peaceful protesting, it’s about time, but unfortunately, the Governor is right about the 21 days and in between now and the end of that time, she has her restraints on the people. So what is the point? This was just a slap in her face, but overall, she still gets the remainder of that time. So I don’t know if it was any good, but I hope the folks are happy with their ruling. However, it may not do much good. To me, it should have removed her executive orders and cancelled out the remaining time for any real good to come from this decision. I’m not a legal expert, nor do I claim to be, it’s just how I see it from a distance.

Something else that should shake up the conservatives, A grand jury has indicted the St. Louis couple who displayed guns while hundreds of racial injustice protesters marched on their private street (https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/grand-jury-indicts-gun-waving-st-louis-couple-on-gun-tampering-charges/article_4b967366-e448-53fc-b718-c2741e45dc5d.html). The couple was indicted on felony charges of unlawful use of a weapon and evidence tampering. The indictments were filed under seal this past Tuesday (10/6). St. Louis Circuit Clerk Thomas Kloeppinger said a judge ordered the indictments suppressed but the clerk didn’t know the reason. The grand jury added a count of evidence tampering after the Circuit Attorney’s Office in July charged the McCloskeys each with one count of unlawful use of a weapon / exhibiting. A lawyer for Mark and Patricia McCloskey confirmed the indictments. The McCloskeys, who are both attorneys, argue that they were simply exercising their Second Amendment right to bear arms, and were protected by Missouri’s castle doctrine law that allows the use of deadly force against intruders. The case has caught the attention of President Donald Trump, and Republican Missouri Governor Mike Parson has said he will pardon the couple if they are convicted.

And if all that wasn’t enough, the Left is having a hard time now because of President Trump’s decision to authorize the declassification of all documents related to the high-profile Russia investigation and the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as secretary of state was embraced by supporters and brushed off by detractors. President Trump took to Twitter on Tuesday night (10/6) to announce that he wanted all relevant files pertaining to “the single greatest political CRIME in American History, the Russia Hoax” released (https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1313650640699224069). He said he also wants all relevant documents pertaining to the Clinton email probe. “No redactions!” he tweeted. But this isn’t anything new. I mean the tween from President Trump is, but the actions were demanded about a year ago when the whole Impeachment process began, if not before. President Trump then told Attorney General Barr to release it at his own discretion. Now it looks to be happening without any redactions which is a good thing, in my opinion. However, as morbid as it sounds, the bad thing is that I expect to see more suicides in the Clinton circles to happen.

Another sad thing is that Hillary Clinton and her henchmen won’t see the light of day in a courtroom because they, and so many of those types of people, think they are above the law. It is sad, but the only way to beat them is by their own game of politics. It’s what they do and what they want. It’s only about them and their circles. It’s a sad, sad fact. At best, they will have the light of justice shown on them, but they will play victim to a ruthless dictator, also known as President Trump in their eyes, and either call for an uprising or scurry back to their dark hiding places like little cockroaches to plan their next political coup. This is a VERY dangerous time in America when you have two factions literally at battle and everyone else is left without a clue on what is the truth about what is really going on. The news media is spinning this around and around because they are the Marxists propaganda machine spewing out the garbage and regurgitation that those who are leading the extreme Left wants you to believe. This is literally Capitalism versus Marxism / Communism. The Presidential debate last week should have been a signal to those like me who pick up these little details. For example, when we seen President Trump having to debate, both the moderator, Chris Wallace, and Democratic Presidential Candidate, Joe Biden, that was a sign of two seperate, but equal ideologies coming together in unison to fight against the Traditional American way of life. Who was representing Marxism and who was working for Communism? Well, you can take your pick between Joe Biden and Chris Wallace. Honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference.

Speaking on justice, Derek Chauvin, the ex-police officer in Minnesota charged in the killing of George Floyd, was released on $1m bond. Derek Chauvin, one of four officers ( including Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng) charged in George Floyd’s death, but is the only one charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter, facing up to 40 years in prison if convicted of second-degree murder. The other three officers have been charged with aiding and abetting murder. Derek Chauvin had been in custody since May and is expected to appear in court in March 2021. (NBC News) (https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/derek-chauvin-ex-officer-charged-murder-george-floyd-case-released-n1242433) If you recall, Derek Chauvin, 44-year-old former police officer for Minneapolis, Minnesota, is facing murder and manslaughter charges after video showed him kneeling on the neck of George Floyd for about eight minutes during an arrest on May 25th. He was released yesterday (10/7) on a conditional release and is expected to appear in court in March of next year, according to his notice of release filed in court. When I first saw the report, I knew that his chances on the outside were much more slimmer than the chances of staying alive while in jail. I would like to know who exactly paid his bail? In any case, the Minnesota Governor activated the state’s National Guard “out of an abundance of caution,” the military group announced on its Twitter account (https://twitter.com/MNNationalGuard/status/1313954981783969794). About 100 Guardsman was deployed along with 100 state troopers and 75 conservation officers in preparation for possible protests (https://www.kare11.com/article/news/local/george-floyd/walz-activates-mn-national-guard-following-derek-chauvins-bail-post/89-cad1fa9f-ba66-4f2e-8edb-f078132be397).

All in all I got to say tonight’s debate was very calming compared to the presidential debate. It was a major difference and the rules were not change from this one nor were there any added. I feel like this was a much more civilized debate that we needed to have. I don’t feel the frustration or aggravation in this debate as we got from last week’s debate. I actually appreciate this debate more than the previous debate, even though this is for the Vice Presidential Candidates. We could go on all night about the the things that we caught or how each candidate was treated over the other. That’s not what I really wanted to do. Instead I feel like I have a better understanding of the topics from last week and a more understanding of sides or positions that each ticket is taking.

And to be completely honest, I want to like Kamala Harris, mainly because of her charisma. Unfortunately, she puts off the same energy in her speech as then-candidate, Donald Trump, but yet more sinister vibe. She is in the same position that I felt President Donald Trump was in back in 2016. I just don’t feel like she would be the right person for the job though. I didn’t think President Trump was the right pick then either, that’s why I voted for Mike Pence. So to me, in a way that kind of cancels out Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. Now taking those two out of the equation, that leaves Joe Biden and Mike Pence. If I just voted today on what I saw on the last two debates, I would still vote for Mike Pence. When you have a guy that was in politics for 47 years and nothing has really changed except maybe a few small issues depending on the political office, but a huge amount of backroom deals that did not benefit the American people as much as it should have.

On the other, you have a guy who was Governor of the state of Indiana, and he seems to be like a solid rock during debates, very calm under pressure, a very humble man who has the morals to know the difference between what’s right and what’s wrong. He has the faith in humanity that believe people are good and don’t need to be told or given everything they want in exchange for their freedoms. That is the kind of guy that seems to be a steady bet to put our country and its people first. He seems to be very humble and appreciative of the situation and position he’s put in as Vice President of the United States. President Trump obviously trust him with the lives of every American during Covid-19 era.

I’ll still wait until the next two presidential debates, but I’m telling you right now it’s going to be very interesting, to say the least. I think as Americans, we should all consider, that if we love our freedoms, has each side matched our asking price?

The Big John Show monthly chat is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at 8pm central!

This will be the new day, but same time: Wednesday @ 8pm! This will continue the chat at www.thebigjohnshow.com/chat on every third Wednesday of each month.

We are working on moving the chat to eventually be on the chat.thebigjohnshow.com platform. We do have a chat room listed on that platform, but it is open to the public. We want to give you a chance to use it and let us know what you think while letting non-partners see / experience what it would be like when the chat is moved over to the platform.

We’ll talk more about that, the date of the actual transition, and more during our next monthly chat!

    See you then!
