Hello everyone, how are you doing tonight? I mean it, really, how are you feeling and doing right now on this October 1st? Are you set to go, ready to rock, and prepared to make what happens next be the hope needed during this time of confusion, frustration, and bizarre actions? Are you constant in your faith in God and fellow Americans or do you feel the urge to make travel plans to a permanent vacation somewhere in Canada, Mexico, or Australia? My mom used to say that what you do on the first of the month is pretty much what you will do for the rest of the month. I forgot about that until last month because of everything going on this year. On the first of last month, my sleep schedule got screwed up and it set up the rest of the month. Stress, daily schedule demands, school schedules, my wife’s’ work schedule, and the feeling of being the odd man out because of not having a job. Yeah, I pretty much feel useless most of the time, except when I’m able to do my shows on the TBJS Radio Network (www.tbjsradio.com). There’s going to come a time, and I feel it soon, that a change is going to happen. Considering all that is going on, it won’t be stopped and it may be welcomed.

God willing, I hope it will be very helpful to me and you. I’ve been praying and hoping for so long that I’ve almost lost my hope and faith. There are times that I feel completely drained, my body tired, my mind in a fog, my spirit withered, and my soul keeps dragging me along similar to how a female dog will carry her puppies from room to room by the back of their necks. I just feel like I’ve been empty, a hollow shell of what I used to be. Then out of the blue, sometimes I’ll wake up and feel renewed or an event will happen and I feel a fresh reload of life. It comes and goes in cycles, but the low times seem to take longer to climb back up to the high times. It is annoying, confusing, frustrating, and depressing because it seems as if there is no future, no positive news, always dark or desperate situations, and the worst part of it is that it’s a constant tug-of-war. I wish I could change the channel or turn this reality show off, but it’s not that simple. It’s like living in a world made of Mainstream News.

Speaking of news, it was a announced recently that Kentucky’s attorney general will release recordings of the grand jury deliberations that led to no charges for the police killing of Breonna Taylor (https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/28/us/breonna-taylor-grand-jury.html). There was an unnamed juror that filed a court motion earlier this week seeking the release of the transcripts and Attorney General agreed hours later. According to the AG’s investigation, two of the three officers involved in the shooting opened fire in self-defense after Taylor’s boyfriend shot at them. The grand jury agreed with the findings of the AG investigation. Cameron also gave the unnamed juror permission to speak publicly about the grand jury’s deliberations. If you recall from last week, the grand jury also indicted former police officer, Brett Hankison, on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment for putting Breonna Taylor’s neighbors at risk, but did not charge any of the officers for her death. The former officer was fired from the police force in June for “blindly” firing his weapon during the chaotic raid that led to the woman’s death. Unfortunately, the grand jury’s decision not to charge the officers for Breonna Taylor’s death sparked protests in many cities across the United States.

Something else happened that I’m almost sure the mainstream media didn’t talk about and it comes without any surprise. It happened on the same day as the Presidential Debate, but I don’t want to get ahead of myself, so we’ll get to that in a moment. This time in the state of Michigan. First of all, I just want to say that my heart and prayers goes out to those who are still peacefully protesting Governor Whitmer’s lockdown. Second, in my humble opinion, you got to get her out of office as soon as humanly possible. I know people are trying to get a recall election (https://ballotpedia.org/Gretchen_Whitmer_recall,_Governor_of_Michigan_(2020)), but I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime before the national elections on November 3, 2020.  I think she is in competition with the California Governor, Gary Newsom. I watched reports from news stations in Michigan who had people complain about her extending the COVID-19 lockdown until October 27th. “This emergency will end, and it is a matter of months,” Governor Whitmer said in a news release (https://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/2020/09/29/michigan-state-of-emergency-gretchen-whitmer/3571396001/). Asked why the state of emergency was not extended beyond the November 3rd election, which would eliminate some uncertainty surrounding that event, the spokeswoman Governor Whitmer’s office said the governor is remaining consistent in her practice of extending the emergency by four weeks at a time. Governor Whitmer also extended four other emergency orders issued previously, including Corrections facilities and transfers to and from Department custody (https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MIEOG/2020/09/29/file_attachments/1558836/EO%202020-189.pdf), Temporary safety measures for food-selling establishments and pharmacies (https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MIEOG/2020/09/29/file_attachments/1558839/EO%202020-190.pdf), Temporary restrictions on entry into health care facilities, residential care facilities, congregate care facilities, and juvenile justice facilities (https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MIEOG/2020/09/29/file_attachments/1558834/EO%202020-188.pdf), and Encouraging the use of electronic signatures and remote notarization, witnessing, and visitation (https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MIEOG/2020/09/29/file_attachments/1558830/EO%202020-187.pdf). Just to be clear, they say the state of emergency should not be confused with Whitmer’s stay-at-home order, which she supposedly lifted June 1st. A state of emergency does not by itself place any restrictions on Michigan residents, but it authorizes the governor to issue orders placing such restrictions, such as ones requiring mask-wearing or limiting restaurant capacity to 50% (https://www.fox47news.com/news/local-news/governor-whitmer-extends-emergency-order-until-oct-27). If you ask me, from an outsiders point of view, limited I know, this is just an example of another Democratic Governor in a power grab to hold down the fine folks in a state over politics, in the name of safety. On the bright side, Michigan continues to ban public water shutoffs during the coronavirus pandemic.

I don’t know if you watched the first debate between President Trump and Joe Biden this past Tuesday night (9/29) or maybe you caught the highlights of it the next day, but it was off the chain as far as the normality goes. It was not as civil as I’m sure we would all like it to have been. I expected it it to have a certain amount of  interruptions and insults between the Presidential candidates, but that seemed to happen all across the stage, including with the Moderator, Chris Wallace, from Fox News. It seemed that President Trump had to defend himself against two opponents that night, the Moderator and Democratic party candidate, Joe Biden. Depending on the news media outlet you get your updates from, most of the Mainstream News Media put the blame squarely on President Donald Trump. I’m not saying the guy is a saint, but he wasn’t the curse the left makes him out to be. Honestly, if I was an undecided voter, I’m not sure the two or three men on that debate showed me any reason to vote for the two men fighting it out. It was so bad at one point that President Trump hammered Chris Wallace during one segment, suggesting he was actually debating the moderator rather than Joe Biden (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2020/09/30/presidential-debate-trump-chris-wallace-clash-cleveland/3582739001/).

There was several times that they all talked over each other, but Chris Wallace didn’t have any control and his “forceful” moment came near the end of the whole debate, making me think it was a little too late and that he should have done that at the beginning. He basically called out the President for not abiding by the two-minute response rule throughout the debate, which his campaign agreed to follow. Although I’m not the only one to notice that Chris Wallace was bias against President Donald Trump. I was making posts on my personal facebook profile (www.facebook.com/thebigjohnshow) throughout the whole debate, pointing out the bias that the moderator had against President Trump. He seemed to let Joe Biden get away with not really having any sustenance to his answers while forcing President Trump to be the only one to answer hard questions. Don’t get me wrong, I want our President to answer tough questions, but I also believe his opponents needed to have answered them too. It’s fair and the American citizens need to know what the candidates will do for them should they take office. There was nothing meaningful from Joe Biden that I felt was really grabbing me. I am trying to stay fair with this election, but with the mainstream news and the crap show I see coming from the Left / Democratic Party, I’m not really convinced that I, as an Independent, would benefit from voting for Joe Biden if the elections were held today.

If I didn’t know any better, I would swear that Chris Wallace took a few comments that President Trump said toward Joe Biden a bit personal, as they were toward him and not the candidate. I want to take this time to point out what the various outlets within the mainstream media says were some of the most talked-about moments:

  • When asked to condemn white supremacy, Trump suggested he might be willing to do so, but then asked the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MgfX81kWEU). This was one of the bigger moments in the debate because it started when President Trump asked Joe Biden to denounce the violence that groups like Antifa and Black Lives Matter have caused over the past several months. Joe Biden did, somewhat, make the comment that he was for law and order, but not actually call out the groups. So Chris Wallace called out President Trump to call them White Supremacists. The moderator wouldn’t let President Trump make his point that something had to be done against Antifa and Black Lives Matter groups. The organization, Proud Boys, website makes the claim that they are for Anti-Racism, Anti-Racial Guilt, want minimal government, and maximum freedom (https://proudboysusa.com/tenets/). Other things they claim to be fore is Venerating the housewife while glorifying the entrepreneur, standing up for free speech and gun rights too. The profess on their website “Though these are our central tenets, all that is required to become a Proud Boy is that a man declare he is “a Western chauvinist who refuses to apologize for creating the modern world.” We do not discriminate based upon race or sexual orientation/preference. We are not an “ism”, “ist”, or “phobic” that fits the Left’s narrative. We truly believe that the West Is The Best and welcome those who believe in the same tenets as us”. These things are in direct opposite of what Antifa and Black Lives Matter are calling for. However, the mainstream media has them listed as white supremacists and evil people. I’m not saying that I support that particular group, but I sure as hell ain’t supporting death, destruction, and propaganda from marxist groups. In this case, it might be better to fight fire with fire, should that time come. That’s all I’m saying on that. Take it for what you will, but I said what I meant and meant what I said. Now moving on…

  • When asked whether he would ask his support base to stay calm if the results of the election are uncertain, to pledge that he will not declare victory until the election has been independently certified, President Trump said he wants his supporters “to go into the polls and watch very carefully” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdECDoioHU0). Honestly, that is exactly what I do each and every time I go vote. I don’t care if it’s a local or national election, I watch to see what evey one else in the room is doing. I’m not spying on or trying to intimidate anyone. I watch to make sure no one else is doing any manipulating or trying to convince anybody else of voting a certain way. I take a very proud stance when it comes to voting. I’m not trying to steal an election, I have faith in my local election board, as should you or any other American citizen. I also am proud to show my picture identification card when I go vote. I have no problem with proving I am an American citizen. It’s a personal preference. I don’t understand why so many people fight against showing any form of photo identification when it comes to voting. Anyone who can get down to the local Department of Motor Vehicles can get a picture identification card made. They just need to prove they are an American citizen or have a VISA / Green Card when they go (https://www.dmv.com/apply-id-card). It’s that simple.

  • Trump then predicted that there will be mail-in voting fraud, in which the mainstream media is claiming he has made repeatedly without presenting any evidence. Let’s stop right there because the some media outlets have shown proof in their own towns and cities that report on large amounts of ballots have been spotted dumped in ditches (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mail-absentee-ballots-found-wisconsin-ditch) about a week ago in Minnesota. In another video report up in that state, it was exposed that there is a ballot harvesting racket going on in Democratic Representative Ilhan Omar’s district of Minneapolis that had paid workers illegally gathering absentee ballots from elderly somali immigrants. One alleged ballot harvester Liban Mohamed, who is seen in a snapchat video talking about the money he’s making in this scam while showing a huge stack across his cars dashboard and seat, is the brother to one of the city council members in Minneapolis, Jamal Osman (https://nypost.com/2020/09/27/project-veritas-uncovers-ballot-harvesting-fraud-in-minnesota/). Just so you know, under Minnesota law, no individual can be the “designated agent” for more than three absentee voters. Great leadership in that town, I do have to say. We wouldn’t have known it happened if it wasn’t for the great work of Project Veritas (https://www.projectveritas.com/news/ilhan-omar-connected-cash-for-ballots-voter-fraud-scheme-corrupts-elections/). And speaking of Ilhan Omar, in the video, there is a person saying “It’s an Open Secret” … “She [Ilhan Omar] Will Do Anything That She Can Do To Get Elected and She [Omar] Has Hundreds of People on The Streets Doing That.” The Federal Bureau of Investigations is working a case about some ballots for President Trump found in pile of garbage in Pennsylvania (https://nypost.com/2020/09/24/fbi-investigates-ballots-for-trump-found-in-pennsylvania-garbage/), also from last week. So when you put all this in perspective, can anyone really blame President Trump if he says that he “won’t go along with that.” With all the scamming and voter fraud going on, he did warn“This is not going to end well”

  • Roughly about 18 minutes into the debate, after President Trump, Chris Wallace, and Joe Biden interrupted each other several times, the former vice president said: “Will you shut up, man? This is so unpresidential.” At one point, Joe Biden called President Trump a “clown,” a “racist,” and “the worst president America has ever had” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4NOXT-ekbo). Of course, Joe didn’t want to talk about his son, Hunter, when President Trump asked him why he was paid over three million dollars from Russia, but he wanted to talk about President Trump’s family. He even told President Trump to “Shut Up” at another time because President Trump was talking over his answer to Chris Wallace (https://youtu.be/5ycmyML195c). I have to agree with what Joe said at the end of that segment, “it was a real productive segment, wasn’t it?” I also have to say that everytime President Trump wanted to ask Joe Biden a question about his actions or comments, Chris Wallace was there to bail him out of asking, it was like he was blocking President Trump. So again, I say that there was obvious bias against and toward President Trump without showing the same toward Joe Biden. How is that fair, Mr Wallace?

  • The mainstream media says that President Trump attacked Biden’s son, Hunter, and commented on his cocaine addiction and his discharge from the Navy. Joe Biden did do what is expected of any good father and said that his son had a drug problem, but “he’s fixed it. He’s worked on it. And I’m proud of him.” However, it wasn’t an “attack” like they claim, he actually asked Joe Biden about why his son was getting all this money from Russia and Billions of dollars more from the Ukraine (https://youtu.be/pR-Z4F5xhx4). I believe President Trump was asking Joe about his son connection to the Russia Collusion scandal the Democrats tried to blame and impeach him earlier this year. In a court of law and in court of public opinion, you are allowed to face your accuser. If it was proven that the certain members of the Democratic party had connections to Russian Collusion, but blamed President Trump for it, then why can’t he defend himself? Why can’t he ask the questions that he did without a biased moderator or a kliq pact blocking him and the rest of us from knowing the God’s honest truth? We won’t know the answers until we ask and have the investigation? Why must that be labeled as a bad thing? Personally, I miss the days of real journalism because if we still had that in the mainstream media, this would have not been an issue until all the facts came out.

  • Trump responded that there is “nothing smart” about the former vice president (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYINfW6geuQ). That was priceless. Unfortunately, I don’t think there was any real points scored with that other than some cheap shot. President Trump made reference that Joe Biden said he went to a Delaware State University, but that school says otherwise. The director of news service for Delaware State said that the former vice president was never a student, though he has made appearances on campus twice before for commencement speeches at the university in Dover (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-said-he-was-a-student-at-delaware-state-university-they-say-otherwise). However, it is noted that recently the Biden-Harris campaign named Delaware State University President Tony Allen to its transition team advisory council.

  • At another segment, Joe Biden criticized President Trump for failing to curb the spread of COVID-19 but the president said that he has done “a great job” , even though the mainstream media constantly blasts out to the people that the U.S. has more confirmed coronavirus cases than any other country. They don’t count anyone who has survived and healed from it nor put into consideration who all has pre-existing conditions if they die. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention puts out their weekly updates about who dies from COVID-19 (https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm), which appears to show as of Wednesday, September 30, 2020, the numbers are much lower now than they were in late March through early May of this year. In another report we covered on this show, the CDC said that 94% of the deaths are with pre-existing conditions, leaving an average of about 6% of the people without pre-existing conditions, such as heart attacks, strokes, suicide, fatal vehicle accidents, and so on (https://fox8.com/news/coronavirus/new-cdc-report-shows-94-of-covid-19-deaths-in-us-had-underlying-medical-conditions/). It got so bad that hospitals were testing dead people after they were brought into the hospital for COVID-19 while getting paid anywhere from $13,000 to $18,000 dollars per case. Joe Biden was the one who repeatedly said he wants to shut the nation down again until we find a cure / vaccine for COVID-19 and honestly I think that is a mistake. It was about that time when President Trump suggested there would have been 10 times as many deaths in the U.S. if Biden had been president. Honestly, without a solid plan from Joe Biden’s team about how they would handle COVID-19, it does look pretty bleak.

  • Moderator Chris Wallace struggled to get the candidates to debate the topics on the agenda. President Trump denied a New York Times report claiming that he barely paid income taxes for many years. He said he has paid millions of dollars in taxes but admitted to taking advantage of legal loopholes to reduce his tax burden. Honestly, tax records of the President, no matter who they are, really don’t bother me. I know the President, Congress, Governors, Senators, and Representatives are all getting paid by our tax dollars, but all that is going to be public knowledge anyway. It will be revealed / released eventually when the taxes get filed.

  • Now for something that Joe Biden didn’t want to discuss was when President Trump championed law and order, noting that 250 military leaders and generals have endorsed him, along with a long list of law enforcement organizations, including the national Fraternal Order of Police. The President challenged Joe Biden to name a single law enforcement group that supports him and the Democrat could not (https://youtu.be/pHvufZ2CM4E). I guess that’s what you get if you declare yourself as the sole member of Democratic party. Yes, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden declared himself, alone, as the Democrat Party during the presidential debate. “I am the Democratic Party right now,” Biden belted out. “The platform of the Democratic Party is what I, in fact, approve of, what I approved of” (https://youtu.be/UqLJhNSsE9A)

Overall it was a giant mess. Painful at times. Chris Wallace was not the man for the job and I hope he does not get it again. All in all, the official count of times Chris Wallace interrupted President Trump was 76 times! Compare that to the 15 times he interrupted Joe Biden (https://twitter.com/TrumpWarRoom/status/1311158630780145666). And I’ll say this even though I have seen a lot of my Democratic friends post this on their social media and argue about it with other people, I don’t think Joe won this debate. If you watch the body language, Joe Biden did not like the fact that Donald Trump brought up his son, Hunter Biden, scandal. Those two times President Trump mentioned it made Joe stumble and silenced him a lot. I am not saying that Donald Trump was the better man in this debate because just like Joe Biden and Chris Wallace, there was a lot of talking over one another and I feel that Donald Trump would have stood out more if he would have just let Joe Biden and Chris Wallace talk over each other while he just points at them and laughs. I don’t feel Joe Biden made any real valid points because of his track record. I hope for Joe’s sake and for the rest of the Democrats that Joe gets his A-game on for the next debate or else he’s gone for sure. The moment Joe Biden said he wasn’t for the green New Deal, AOC probably felt crushed. President Trump did seem a bit arrogant, but he had the facts to back it up. In other words he was proud of his accomplishments and he wasn’t ashamed or shy to admit it. If this was a Pay-Per-View event, I would have felt like I overpaid. Chris Wallace should have laid out his authority with a bit more force at the beginning of the debate than toward the end. His patience was his own weakness. His bias was also his big downfall.

Now, let’s take it take it off politics and move to something else a little close to my home. What I’m about to say is probably going to piss off some Morning Show jocks in the area , but so be it. Maybe this will fire up someone to actually do something better than what everybody else is doing. Call me old-fashioned but morning shows on the radio need to be a lot more exciting than what I’m hearing. For example when you cannot be excited about giving away concert tickets for the listener, then you probably should not be doing that morning show. For the love of all things holy, if you cannot do something as simple as at least faking your excitement, you don’t need to be doing that morning show gig. And another thing too, the music should be a little bit more upbeat than hearing something that’s going to put me back to sleep especially when I’m on the road. This is a very important time when local radio personalities can stand out against the national shows. I mean is it too much to ask for actual excitement from people who really enjoy their work and want to make people’s lives better other than talking about absolutely nothing important and wasting a listener’s time by playing boring slow tempo music? I mean the whole reason of doing a Morning Show is to wake people up, be informative of information that they should know, and not talk about stupid crap and waste people’s time or put them back to sleep.
